Logistics: From a practical point of view, it is important to be clear about what to expect on the day.  So check the following with the employer or agency such as, what type of interview it is likely to be? Be clear about the duration, the presence of tests or rounds etc.

Location and travel arrangements: Double-check location, travel times etc. to ensure that you arrive in plenty of time.

Know the Company: It is essential that you read up about the company before you go for the interview.  This will help you in being more confident about your job expectations; help you in demonstrating your keen interest and job fitness, show professionalism and conscientiousness. Get an edge over others by reading about the corporate literature, reviews etc. You should be absolutely well-read about the company stats, products& services, target audience and strategies and trends. To gather brownie points, make notes of your findings and use relevant facts and figures within your answers.

Sell yourself: Prepare answers that show you meet their requirements and try and quote real-life examples to illustrate your relevant skills and experience in action. However, avoid too many details and keep your answers short and crisp.
